We understand the importance of education within our mission, whether that’s discussing important issues surrounding homelessness or learning how to better care for this population within the medical community. Some of our education efforts include:

• Working with a broad range of student volunteers from the Marcella Niehoff School of Nursing, Stritch School of Medicine, MSMP / MAMS program

• Resident learning opportunities from multiple specialties - use of bedside ultrasound, teaching opportunities 

• Street Medicine curriculum podcast - Spotify

• Introductory lecture: Understanding and Caring for the Homeless Population

• Quarterly educational workshops sponsored by the student board

• Quarterly Street Medicine collaborative meetings with other Chicago area Street Medicine chapters and community organizations

• Monthly newsletters on Twitter and Instagram
